Exit and Emergency Lighting Services
VFP undertakes Exit and emergency lighting service, installation and maintenance services according to Australian Standard AS/NZS 2293.1, section 4 requires an Emergency Lighting Test Switch be installed to facilitate the testing of Emergency Lights without the need to isolate individual circuits placing areas into darkness.
Exit and Emergency lighting system testing shall be carried out every six months, along with duration testing, for a minimum of 90 minutes, as per the guidelines outlined in the emergency evacuation lighting in buildings Part 2 – inspection and maintenance which will be recorded in the GLS Log Book.
